Financial Resources Available
Idaho LAUNCH
Idaho LAUNCH provides funding for eligible Idaho residents pursuing training for in-demand careers. Funding may cover up to 80% of approved training costs.
The list of Idaho LAUNCH-approved CSI Workforce Training programs is updated regularly. To view the most current approved programs and eligibility requirements, visit Education Training - Idaho Launch and select College of Southern Idaho – Workforce Training in the Select School filter.
How to Apply
1. Choose Your Program
Review approved programs and identify the courses that align with your career goals. When applying, list all courses you may be interested in, as you can only apply for Idaho LAUNCH once.
2. Submit Your Application
Complete the application through the Idaho LAUNCH website and watch for follow-up communication from Idaho LAUNCH regarding your application status or requests for additional information.
3. Wait for Your Award Notification
Please do not contact CSI immediately after applying. CSI cannot determine your award status until Idaho LAUNCH has completed its review. Wait until you receive an official award email showing your approved funding amount(s) before contacting CSI.
4. Register and Begin Training
After receiving your award notification, contact CSI to complete registration and discuss any remaining balance. Approved students must begin training within six months of receiving their award.
CSI Workforce Scholarship
CSI Workforce scholarships help eligible students cover training-related costs, including tuition, books, course fees, and, when applicable, living expenses. These scholarships are designed to reduce financial barriers and support students as they pursue workforce training and career advancement.

Tuition Loan Agreement (TLA) / Payment Plan
Before applying for a Tuition Loan Agreement, students are encouraged to explore available funding options, including Workforce Scholarships, Idaho LAUNCH, and other financial assistance programs.
For students who do not qualify for other funding or still have a remaining balance, the Tuition Loan Agreement (TLA) can help reduce the upfront cost of training by splitting tuition into two payments. To qualify, the balance must be at least $800. Students must complete and sign a TLA application before registration. One-half of the balance is due at registration, and the remaining balance must be paid in full by the end of the following month unless other arrangements have been made with the Finance Manager.
