How Idaho LAUNCH Works

Step 1: Check Eligibility & Choose a Program
Idaho LAUNCH for adults is open to Idaho residents pursuing training in an in-demand career
When applying, list as many courses as you are interested in—you can only apply to LAUNCH once, and you won’t be penalized if you don’t use all the funds.

Step 2: Apply Online
Submit your application through the Idaho LAUNCH website. After applying, watch for an email or phone call from LAUNCH—this may be for fund acceptance, clarification, or to request more information. Applications usually take 48 hours to 1 week to process, but delays can occur if calls or emails aren’t answered by you.

Step 3: Receive Funds!
If approved, you’ll receive a voucher covering up to 80% of your training costs. You must start your first training course within 6 months of receiving it.

Consider Tuition Loan Agreement (TLA) to help ease the upfront cost burden.

Our Tuition Loan Agreement allows you to split your tuition costs in two.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. Complete the Application: Fill out the Tuition Loan Agreement (Payment Plan) Application Form sent by a member of our team. The total amount must be a minimum of $800 to qualify. The form must be signed before registration can occur.
  2. Initial Payment: Upon registration, you must pay half of the balance upfront.
  3. Registration: Once the initial payment is made, you will be registered for your class.
  4. Payment of Remaining Balance: The remaining tuition balance will be due in full by the end of the following month unless other arrangements have been made with our FInance Manager. You can make incremental payments through our system until the final due date.

We are here to support your educational journey and ensure you have the necessary resources.
