This 4-year program includes

  • 576 classroom hours: 144 hours per year, delivered in a 24-week course
  • 8,000 hours of documented work experience: 2,000 hours per year
  • Diverse experience in residential, industrial, commercial areas of the electrical industry

The program covers basic trade mathematics, fundamentals of electricity and power distribution, national electrical code requirements, commercial, industrial, and residential wiring requirements, and control theory and other fundamentals.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Work under the constant supervision of a licensed Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician
