The blended learning model offered by the American Heart Association (AHA) allows you the opportunity to do the lecture portion as an online, self-paced course. Once you have successfully completed the online portion, you are able to schedule an appointment to do the live skills check off portion with a trained professional.

What Will I Learn?

In the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR with AED blended learning class, you will demonstrate your knowledge to correctly and safely provide First Aid, CPR and use an AED device. You will review and demonstrate the procedures necessary to safely and effectively assist in an emergency until more advanced care arrives to take over

Step 1: Online Portion

In order to attend the skills test, you must bring a paper copy of your certificate of completion from the online course.

Step 2: Skills Portion

  • To register and pay for the skills portion ($35), click on the 'Register' button on this page.

Walk Away With

Those who successfully pass the skills test will receive their Heartsaver® e-certification in First Aid, CPR with AED or First Aid CPR with AED, depending on which certification they have chosen.

Who Should Attend?

This course is recommended for anyone in the community that has taken and completed the online Heartsaver® First Aid CPR with AED course and needs to take the skills portion to acquire Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR with AED card.

Samantha Brizee

Sam Graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. She had over 20,000 hours of hands on experience with sports medicine. She has worked with Semi-pro to middle school athletes. She has had experience working with hockey, football, softball, baseball, wrestling, basketball, soccer, track & field, swimming, cross country, diving, volleyball, golf, cheer, and dance. She had worked several special events such as Rodeo, Hockey, basketball, and volleyball tournaments.
