Confined Space Safety: Competent Person Training

A competent person is essential on every job site, possessing the experience and knowledge to identify confined space hazards, correct unsafe conditions, and halt operations until hazards are addressed. This person should be the most knowledgeable regarding confined space safety on site.

While confined space incidents are not the most frequent, they can be among the deadliest, often due to underestimated or misunderstood hazards. This course trains students in best practices for identifying and eliminating both existing and predictable confined space hazards.

Live Online Training Requirements

Participants attending Live Online sessions must complete a hands-on equipment inspection, assessment, and demonstration to receive certification. After the training, our CSI Workforce Development & Training Coordinator will contact you to schedule a 1x1 session with our instructor to complete the hands-on requirements for final certification.
