Description

Having a foundational understanding of adult learning, you will develop an in-depth understanding of core learning styles. Subsequently, you will be presented with a method of employee training that is highly effective, efficient, and expedient. You will then construct and design trainings related to the job positions for which you are responsible. Finally, you will have the opportunity to practice the training method using your new designs.

Instructor Bio

Andy Orr

Andy Orr accepted a position as a CSI instructor in the Communication department two years ago. In addition to the introduction to human communications, he teaches business and professional speaking. He also serves as director of the speech and debate program. Prior to joining the faculty, he gained over ten years of experience as a corporate trainer and store manager for Starbucks. Along the way he earned his Master’s in public administration from Boise State and Bachelor of Arts from Pacific Lutheran. Both he and his wife were born in the Magic Valley, and their two young daughters have quickly begun to put down roots.
