Description

This program is designed to give students the skills they need to assist patients struggling with daily life activities and mobility. Restorative therapists work under the direction of nursing and rehabilitation specialist on reviewing interventions and monitoring patient responses to therapy and support in a variety of health care settings.

What Will I Learn?

Knowledge of the muscular system and how it works and ages. You will learn about adaptive equipment for both feeding and mobility and how to work with patients who use them.

Walk Away With

Students who successfully complete this program will walk away with an Idaho Skill Stack Certification badge.

Who Should Attend?

This is for anyone who is interested in working in the medical field and wanting to work with patients who suffer from mobility or discomfort issues as a result to increased age, injury, or surgery as they transition through the recovery or aging process.
