Firefighters take on significant responsibilities when they choose their profession, putting themselves in the path of danger and taking calculated risks to keep others safe. This includes turnout gear, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), etc. All that gear plus their tools can weigh anywhere between 80 to 120 pounds.
