How to Sign Up for the CNA Skills Test

1. Visit the Website
  • Open a web browser and go to CSI Workforce's website: https://csi.augusoft.net
  • In the search bar (upper right corner), type “CNA Skills Test” and press Enter.
2. Choose a Test Date & Location
  • You will find multiple options for test dates, times, and locations.
  • Each time slot accommodates two test-takers, but only one person can sign up at a time.
  • You may select the same rater for your test up to two times. If you are on your third attempt, you must choose a different rater.
3. Create or Access Your CSI Workforce Account
  • You will need a CSI Workforce Account (Lumens) account to register.
  • If you took the CNA class for non-credit, you already have a Lumens account but may need to reset your password:
  • Click “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions to reset it.
  • If you did not take the class for non-credit, you will need to create a new Lumens account before registering.
4. Upload Required Documentation
  • You must upload one of the following:
    • Proof of completing your CNA class (such as your CNA class certification)
    • Health & Welfare (H&W) letter, if applicable
5. Pay the Testing Fee
  • The cost of the CNA Skills Test is $65 per attempt.
  • You are allowed up to three tries to pass the test.
6. Understand Your Testing Timeline
  • If you completed a CNA class, you have six months from the class completion date to pass the test.
  • If you have an H&W letter, your timeline for completing the test will be stated in the letter.
7. Complete Your Registration
  • Once logged in, select your preferred test date and time.
  • Follow the prompts to upload documents, submit payment, and finalize registration.
8. Confirmation
  • After registering, you should receive a confirmation email.
  • If you do not receive an email, check your spam/junk folder or contact CSI Workforce for assistance.
