Debbie Borek

Debbie Borek brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources management, leadership development, and organizational strategy to her work as a Communication Architect. An OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer and former executive, consultant, and educator, Debbie specializes in helping organizations build psychologically safe workplaces through clear communication, emotional intelligence, and practical leadership tools. Her engaging, hands-on training sessions empower participants to strengthen trust, enhance accountability, and foster collaboration at every level. Drawing on her background in Communication and Transpersonal Psychology, Debbie connects deeply with learners and guides them toward meaningful, lasting change in how they lead, listen, and work together.

Adam Gerson
Adam Gerson is the Compliance Assistance Specialist for the OSHA Boise Area Office. He has over thirty years of experience working as a safety and health manager, industrial hygienist and safety compliance officer with OSHA. His background includes conducting process safety management inspections at ammonia refrigeration facilities, industrial hygiene surveys for silica hazards, and accident investigations on large-scale manufacturing and multi-employer construction sites. In the Boise Area Office, he assists with planning committees for the Safety Fest of the Great Northwest, OSHA Partnerships with Idaho Construction companies, and Alliance activity to provide OSHA 10 training for a technical high school in Idaho Falls.
Kevin Cherry

Kevin Cherry

Kevin was born and raised in Oroville, California. He received his associate degree from Butte College where he played collegiate football for two years. He later received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University – Provo followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah.

He tells us, “I absolutely love my profession and all that it has to offer. Most of all, I love helping my patients return to their full functional capacity so that they can participate in the activities that they love. This passion stems from being highly involved in sports and outdoor activities growing up as well as the impact rehabilitation played in my life after injuring my knee playing football. After several years of professional practice, this passion has only grown. When I am not at work you will likely catch me spending time with my wife and three children and/or enjoying some time doing carpentry, watching college football and hiking.”

Kevin’s training and professional focus is in orthopedic physical therapy. He strives to provide the best care possible by continuing education in evidence-based treatment and refining treatment skills on a frequent basis.

Cory Christensen

Cory Christensen

Cory was raised in Burley, Idaho. He completed his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Utah Valley University and subsequently moved to Mesa, Arizona to attend A.T. Still University for his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Cory was first exposed to physical therapy at a young age when a physical therapist would come to his home to work with his disabled, yet very special, younger brother. He would watch very intently as the therapist would work with his brother, and knew that by becoming a physical therapist he would in turn be able to help others live joyful lives. He became very interested in how the body moves and how to assist those with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other impairments achieve an active and meaningful lifestyle.

Over the past 5 years Cory has been developing his skills with becoming certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT), as well as finding a passion for the treatment of TMD. He is also heavily involved within the community and businesses with helping to develop safer work environments and providing ergonomic training.

Cory is the proud father of a wonderful daughter and son. He also enjoys playing sports, camping, wake & snowboarding, and is also very passionate about American Kenpo Karate and vocal percussion.

Dan Clark

Dan Clark

Dan Clark spent most of his life in Washington and Idaho. He attended the University of Idaho where he obtained BS degrees in Operations Management and Information Systems with a minor in Spanish. He has worked as Operations Supervisor for United Parcel Service in Pullman, WA and Operations Manager for Reddaway Freight in Pocatello, ID. In 2010, he was hired by Glanbia Foods in a Training and Development/Safety role. In 2011, he began work in the Glanbia Foods Richfield plant as EHS Specialist and later served in the same role for Glanbia Twin Falls Cheese plant where he managed all safety and environmental aspects of the plant. He later served as Employee Development and Training Manager for Clif Bar Bakery of Twin Falls. He then accepted a position with Chobani as Safety and Security Manager. He currently works for the State Insurance Fund as Safety Services Supervisor. In 2016, he obtained his CSP level certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and SHRM_CP certification through the Society of Human Resources (SHRM).

Jeannien DeWitt
Jeannien DeWitt currently serves as an education and training specialist for the Damage Prevention Board and several other licensing boards under the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses. Her work for the Damage Prevention Board focuses on educating the public on Idaho's damage prevention laws and safe digging best practices.
Jackie Frey

Jackie Frey

Jacqueline Frey is a native of Idaho and has lived in the City of Buhl since birth.  Jackie is married to James and has four daughters: Angie, Stephanie, Nicole and Rebecca, two son-in-law’s Chris (Angie), Ryan (Stephanie) and four grandchildren Natalie, Noah, Theo and Gus.

Jackie has served as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Twin Falls County since April of 1997.  She promotes all areas of emergency management with local agencies, citizens, industry, local government, those with functional needs, and school personnel.  Her primary responsibility is to coordinate resources for the first responding agencies during an incident or disaster in the county to promote life safety.  Currently, she is accredited in the Professional Development and Applied Practice Series through FEMA and has completed over 130 classes in Emergency Management, while her office manages and overseas the Twin Falls County Emergency Operations Plan, Family Assistance Center Plan, and All Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Currently, she is the Vice President for Region IV for the Idaho Emergency Management Association (IEMA),  Chairman of the monthly LEPC meeting with area agencies, local officials, citizens, industry, schools, the facilitator for the  quarterly Public Information Officers meeting, and Chairwoman for the Service Providers Group in Twin Falls County, and her involvement in a number of local/state boards and committees.  She also offers her support and guidance with a number of other agencies in the county on developing Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) planning, training, exercises and mitigation opportunities.

Kiana Gratzer
Kiana Gratzer is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Chobani, where she leads safety, health, and environmental efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. She holds her Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and is passionate about protecting both people and the environment. In addition to her corporate role, she serves as a Bioenvironmental Engineer with the Idaho Air National Guard, supporting mission readiness through industrial hygiene and risk management. For over 10 years, she’s been dedicated to prevention, committed to injury-free workplaces, and known for bringing positive energy and a people-first mindset to every challenge as a safety leader.

Blake is an experienced instructor with a strong background in leadership, organizational development, and community engagement. He holds a double Bachelor’s in Biology and Human Resource Training and Development, along with a Master’s in Organizational Learning and Development from Idaho State University. Blake is passionate about mentoring and helping individuals grow, drawing from his extensive experience in coaching, leadership training, and his work with non-profit organizations. He brings a practical, hands-on approach to teaching, fostering both personal and professional development in his students.

David Kearns

David Kearns is the Director for the Boise Area OSHA Office covering the State of Idaho.  He has been with OSHA for over 25 years.  He also worked in the private sector as an EHS manager, consultant, and trainer.  Dave is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with degrees from Boise State University.  An Idaho native he lives to spend time in outdoor activities with his family.

For most of my professional lifetime, I have worked as a safety and loss control specialist. I started off at Sorrento Lactalis as a Safety Engineer intern, then spent three years as an OSHA Consultant at Boise State. Before my current position with Leavitt Group Boise, I was a Safety Manager for a local manufacturing company. I decided to join Leavitt Group because they gave me the opportunity to help a lot of different companies reduce accidents and make their work environment safer. I’m an Idaho native! I grew up on a farm in Nampa, Idaho and graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational and Environmental Health. One of my favorite pastimes is salmon and steelhead fishing in Riggins, Idaho. I also enjoy hunting and hiking — really anything that lets me be outdoors.

Todd Morgan

Todd Morgan started his career as a fraud examiner at a bank in the early 80s.  He went to work for a major insurance carrier in 1995 that at that time had only 3 people working in Idaho; a carrier nobody at that time had ever heard of.  Since that time, he has conducted thousands of investigations, operated in the Special Investigations Unit, managed three separate claims groups, and was the regional claims director for a mid-size utility.  After 20 years  claims, he moved to the Risk Management side of the insurance world, working with clients to reduce their accidents, have solid controls, and to assist clients in being “defensible” when a case goes to trial.  He has had more than 60 cases go to trial over 30 years.  He is currently the Senior Risk Management Specialist for Selective Insurance in Idaho.

Ashley is a Rehabilitation Consultant with the Industrial Commission Rehabilitation Department with over six years of workers compensation experience. Ashley serves as a neutral third-party professional who is objective in providing a multitude of services to all parties of the worker’s compensation claim. As a neutral party, she supports medical recovery while facilitating an early return to employment as close as possible to pre-injury status and wage.

Andrea Rasmussen is The Community Outreach and Resources Planning Specialist for the Wage and Hour Division’s Portland District Office. She also served as a Wage and Hour Investigator and Assistant District Director.  She has worked for Wage and Hour since 2013.  She is a fluent Spanish speaker and has Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Work and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

Kimberli Reynolds is the Program Manager for the Idaho Occupational Safety and Health Consultation program. The program assists Idaho's small businesses in understanding OSHA law, emphasis programs, industrial hygiene requirements, and safety and health requirements. She also manages the industrial hygiene services for the program. She oversees consultant activities and training, provides community outreach services, and fosters client relations with small businesses in Idaho. Kimberli's degree and background is in Occupational Safety and Health with a focus in Environmental Management. She has over fifteen years of safety leadership and management that includes industrial hygiene in the field. Kimberli values making a difference in the livelihood of both the employer and employees in the smaller businesses in Idaho, and discovering the phenomenal things Idaho small businesses are creating for the state and beyond.

Wayne Stevenson

Wayne Stevenson brings over 34 years of OSHA General Industry and Construction Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Hazard Waste Operations, and Employee Health and Safety Training experience with leading organizations including Morrison Knudsen, Micron Technology, Washington Group International, Lactalis American Group, and Automated Dairy.  Wayne has served as the Safety and Compliance Officer, Safety Engineer, and Industrial Hygienist for multiple project locations throughout the United States. Currently, Wayne is serving as a Safety Consultant for SIF Idaho Workers’ Compensation in the Magic Valley and Wood River Valley locations.  Wayne earned his B.S. in Industrial Hygiene from Utah State University.

Jacob Timothy holds a B.S. in Occupational Health & Safety from Utah State University and an M.S. in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. With 10 years of experience in the Health & Safety field, he specializes in managing and implementing confined space programs that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote safe working conditions. Jacob is certified in both Safety and Industrial Hygiene, demonstrating his expertise in these critical areas.

I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, I served in the Navy for 10 years, then I worked in the North Dakota Oil fields for 5 years. While working in the oil fields I started my safety career. I have been in safety for 8 years, in that time I have worked in construction, telecommunications, I am currently working for BBSI which is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) company. With BBSI I have been able to achieve my OSHA #501 Trainer Course which authorizes me to teach OSHA 10 and 30 General Industry. I am also currently working on my master’s degree in occupational health and safety. I have been a CPR instructor for over 4 years and have had to perform CPR on someone who suffered from cardiac arrest. I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I have gained in my pursuit of my safety career.

Ed is credentialed as a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and Certified Instructional Trainer. He holds an A.A.S. in Hazardous Materials Technology, a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health, and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Management. His safety experience started as a bomb disposal technician for the US Army, continued as the training developer for the FBI Hazardous Devices School HAZWOPER training program, and then as a Safety and Health Manager for CH2M HILL for 16 years. He owns and operates PNW Safety Consulting providing “uncomplicated health and safety solutions” to construction and general industry clients and is a contract instructor for the Pacific Northwest OSHA Education Center at the University of Washington.

Currently, he is the Administrative Services Division Captain, collaborating with exceptional teams in Records, Dispatch, and Code Enforcement.

Bryan Wright, born in Hansen, Idaho, grew up turning irrigation work into games and honing his athletic skills in basketball, football, track, and music. Despite a sports injury in high school that left him with a broken hand, his passion for physical activity never wavered.

Bryan's interest in physical therapy ignited early, sparked by frequent visits to PT sessions with his mother. These experiences, where he was even mistaken for a physical therapist, fueled his passion for the profession. He pursued this interest academically, earning degrees from the College of Southern Idaho and Utah State University before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Sports and health have always been integral to Bryan's life. During his academic years, he balanced marathon training with ultimate frisbee, basketball, and volleyball. This blend of rigorous physical activity and academic pursuit laid the foundation for his professional career.

Bryan founded Wright Physical Therapy with a mission to transform the delivery of PT services. His vision combines compassionate care with top-notch skill integration. Under his leadership, Wright PT has become Idaho's premier physical therapy provider. Bryan's innovative approach includes developing educational systems, advocating for children's innocence, and creating software technology to enhance the PT process.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bryan is a dedicated father to five daughters and one son. His family challenges him to grow and drives his commitment to community service. Bryan's blend of professional excellence and personal dedication makes him a dynamic leader in the physical therapy industry.
