Certified Nursing Assistants are a critical part of the health care system. Often found in hospital and long-term care settings, they are the front line observers of patient health. This is a 48-hour online course is designed to take current C.N.A knowledge to the next level and prepare you for Mental Health Technician, Patient Care Technician, and Restorative Therapy Technician training.

What Will I Learn?

You will dive deeper into the 8-systems of the body, learn the common diseases that affect them. In addition you will be able to identify the common signs and symptoms to be able to communicate and report effectively and efficiently to staff when issues arise.

Who Should Attend?

This course is for employees currently employed in the Long-Term Care industry looking to expand on existing C.N.A knowledge and skills.

Sue Jones
Sue Jones has been a professional nurse for 44 years here in the Magic Valley. During her career, she has worked for Twin Falls Clinic and Hospital, Idaho Home Health & Hospice, St. Alphonsus, and now the College of Southern Idaho. She finds great satisfaction in teaching the CNA course at both the Twin Falls and Burley campuses.
