The Cybercore Summer Camp is a summer program designed in collaboration with the College of Eastern Idaho, Idaho National Laboratory, Cybercore Integration Center and STEM K-12 program, Idaho Falls District 91, additional industry partners, and area universities to introduce high school students and local Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers to cybersecurity and related topics. Students, grades 9-12, with an interest in computer programming, networking, and cybersecurity will participate in hands-on learning activities, gain access to industry mentors through demonstrations and lectures, and experience real-world exposure through facilities tours coordinated by local industry partners.

This course is offered to our teachers as a way to continue education in the classroom while earning 3 PD credit requirements. Cost for Summer Camp: $125 (Scholarships Available)

Cost for 3 CSI Professional Development Credits: $120

Walk Away With:

Upon successful completion of the Cybercore Summer Camp, you will receive 3 professional development credits that will appear on your CSI transcript. Credits will appear on the transcript at the end of the Fall semester. Students can request an official transcript or submit an unofficial transcript by following the instructions on the FAQ page. Professional development credits CANNOT be used to satisfy degree requirements and are not eligible for financial aid. No refunds will be awarded.

** CSI Policy waives credit fees for students over 60 and Full-time regular CSI employees, their spouses and children. The student is responsible for paying any course fees. If you fall under one of these categories, please complete the online registration form. Where it asks for Payment Method please select, I will pay by cash or check and call the CSI Workforce Development & Training office at (208) 732-6310 to pay the course fee.
