Description

This course covers legalities, medical terminology, and skills essential to help a person consume medications. For health care employees working in assisted living situations, Health & Welfare requires you to take this course.

The online course runs Monday-Thursday and is offered monthly. The curriculum and content are the same as the face-to-face course. The course lecture content, introduction to skills, and the test will be delivered online and must be completed by Wednesday at midnight. On Thursday from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., students who have successfully completed the online portion will test on skills. Skills testing will be completed in a virtual classroom environment (Zoom). 

 This is not a self-paced course, In order to successfully complete this course, students have assignment deadlines and participate in the online zoom classroom. 

Walk Away With

Students will walk away with a certification of completion from CSI Workforce Development & Training.
