Description

Working in industrial, commercial, agricultural or residential power or control applications? Let us help introduce you to the job market and provide you with exposure and experience.

This course will provide participants with introductory AC/DC Electrical circuits and PLC Troubleshooting skills including schematics, meter usage, relays, and motors. Students will be immersed in practical, real-world examples that illustrate how electricity is distributed and used in their plants and facilities. Applied learning will include troubleshooting a faulty relay or switch with a meter and reading a schematic to isolate a fault in a circuit.

Walk Away With

  • Training that will include a hands-on demonstration of AC/DC Electrical training systems and how electricity is used for power and control.
  • Training workbook, with extensive notes, to use during the course and on the job site.
  • Certification of Completion provided by CSI Workforce Development and Training.

Who Should Attend?

Working as a machine operator, welder, assembler, machinist, painter, electrician, tester or installer? Then this course is for you. This course is recommended for anyone who works with or around electrical systems or someone who wants to build an understanding of electrical fundamentals.
