CSI 30hr Introduction to Welding Class

Required Equipment

Leather boots, safety glasses, gloves, welding hood, and proper clothing are necessary at the beginning of the second class. The first class will consist of a safety film and orientation to the shop and equipment that is available for use.

This class is designed to teach those with little or no experience welding how to operate welding and cutting equipment safely and correctly. The instructor will accommodate for Stick, MIG, or TIG welding and oxy/acetylene or plasma cutting. Great class for someone interested in learning the necessary skills to safely operate welding and cutting equipment for professional or personal reasons.


Time, Location, Credits, and Cost

  • Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00p.m. To 9:00p.m. for a total of 30hrs. Start dates vary, usually 2 classes in the fall and 2 classes in the spring. Call or e-mail for starting times.

This class is designed to teach those with some experience welding how to operate welding and cutting equipment safely and correctly along with improving their existing skills. The instructor will accommodate for Stick, MIG, or TIG welding and oxy/acetylene or plasma cutting. Great class for someone interested in improving their skills in safely operating welding and cutting equipment for professional or personal reasons. Welding certifications are available to those who qualify.

  • Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00p.m. To 9:00p.m. for a total of 30hrs. Start dates vary, usually 2 classes in the fall and 2 classes in the spring. Call or e-mail for starting dates.
