
Eight (96 hour) semesters of related training, plus 8,000 hours of documented work experience.
Classes are held on the campus of the College of Southern Idaho (Twin Falls, Idaho), and Cassia Regional Tech Center (Burley, Idaho). The work experiences are at various job sites for the practical portion of the training.
To have the classes count toward the State of Idaho's Requirements for Apprenticeship training, you must meet the following requirements:
Classes are three(3) hours per evening and two(2) nights per week. Classes will vary as to which evenings they are held depending on the location and the year level of apprentice.

The apprenticeship course is designed to provide related training in the Maintenance Technology trade that will give students the proper course work in safety, Code and knowledge of the trade. Completion must be documented each year with the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety 334-6180.
